My name is JB-san, and I’m happy to welcome you to This Way to Japan, a labor of love and love letter to my favorite country in the world. I love traveling to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka, but my goal in starting this website is to encourage you to go beyond the most popular destinations and discover roads less traveled in Japan.
To tell you a little bit about myself, I’m a full-time traveler who’s been running one of the world’s most popular travel blogs for the last few years now. I’ve traveled to over forty countries across six continents, but Japan will always be my one true love. I adore everything about this endlessly captivating country and its people.
I’ve visited and had adventures in 78.7% of Japan’s prefectures. I’m on a quest to visit them all – a quest I’m aiming to complete soon – and share everything I’ve discovered here with you.
